“I remember attending the first ROI Summit in 2006. I was surrounded by so much creativity and so many passionate innovators, all dedicated to making Jewish life more meaningful. At the time, there wasn’t another community like it. I found myself thinking, ‘This is a community I want to be part of.’ And, in the years since I have, as a facilitator and consultant.
“Since its inception, ROI has created a unique space for young Jews around the world to take risks and engage their Jewishness in exciting and innovative ways. The week-long annual ROI Summit in Jerusalem is an amazing venue for Jewish innovators, from those just getting started to the seasoned professionals, to grow and learn together.
“As a result of ROI, there is a new generation of young Jews who have been empowered by Schusterman to build and sustain change. In making leadership development a priority, the Foundation has dramatically changed the landscape of Jewish life by creating a platform for young Jewish professionals to explore great ideas.
“Being part of the process has taught me so much about innovation and facilitation. ROI lets participants direct their own experiences. As a result, so many amazing projects have come out of ROI. This is what happens when you gather 150 creative minds in a room together for a few days in Israel.”
